Homemade Vanilla-Coconut Granola
Gluten Free Recipes
I wanted to experiment with gluten free eating since my mom is allergic to wheat and since through my studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I read about a number of health problems that can clear up when one lays off the wheat! I have been off gluten now for the past 3 months. For years I have suffered from frequent canker sores (at least once a month) — and since ditching gluten I have been canker-sore-free! The most helpful resource for gluten free recipes I have found is a blog Gluten Free Girl and the Chef. I encourage you to try her gluten free pancakes (scroll down for the recipe) and/or her Ooey-Gooey Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies. We’ve been enjoying them especially over the holidays! Enjoy!

Thanks for the comment “melange” is the French word for Medley — Just getting all fancy on you… it’s a recipe for a tasty mix of winter vegetables. Enjoy!

I tried the Sweet Potato Tomato Soup recipe and loved it! Hearty, but not heavy. Tasted as though it had roasted red peppers in it.
Thanks- this one goes in the More, Please! section of my recipe notebook.\
